To continue our journey, we are now seeking a Transportation Planner to join us in Stockholm. This role will be instrumental in optimizing Gordon's transportation network and driving cost-efficiency while exceeding customer expectations.

As a Transportation Planner, you will be pivotal in planning, coordinating, and managing transportation activities to support Gordon’s growth plan. This role combines operational planning, relationship building, and analytical expertise to ensure exceptional service delivery and cost optimization.

Responsibilities & Objectives:

• Plan and manage transportation needs, including receiving and processing customer transportation bookings and coordinating bookings with Gordon Distribution Centers.
• Develop, implement, and improve transportation planning and booking processes to enhance service delivery and enable profitable growth.
• Monitor transportation invoices and ensure accuracy in the billing process.
• Collaborate with transportation companies and internal teams to address potential issues and ensure performance aligns with Gordon’s standards.
• Analyze transportation performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and working with partners to meet and exceed expectations.
• Support pre-sales activities, such as pricing, setting up pick-up schedules, and creating Standard Operating Procedures for new customers.
• Identify and implement cost-efficiency initiatives to balance profitability with customer delivery demands.
• Collaborate with the Head of Quality & Sustainability on transportation quality initiatives.
• Assist the Transportation & Establishment Manager and Chief Logistics Officer with strategic activities.

We are looking for someone with

• Education: Senior High School or higher education in logistics or related fields.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation, preferably within start-ups or e-commerce companies. Experience in the food or pharma industry is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Analytical competence with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build long-term partnerships.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Thorough, structured, and well-organized, with great attention to detail and prioritization ability.
  • People management skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
