To take our journey to the next level, we are currently seeking a customer-centric, energetic, and highly motivated Operations Leader to join our Logistics Function in Oslo.

About the role:
The Operations Leaders main assignment is to lead and be responsible for the operational work at relevant Distribution centers according to the company strategy and goals. This person will coordinate the work of all distributions centers in Norway and work closely with the Workforce team acting as a liaison between various teams to ensure our delivery services and operational performance metrics exceed customer expectations and create long-lasting partnerships. The Operations leader will also work closely with current delivery partners and be responsible for onboarding of new delivery partners in the region.
Responsibilities and objectives:
- Lead and oversee the operational work at the distribution center (DC), including planning and organizing tasks to ensure efficiency and smart working methods.
- Work to ensure the operation achieves the company's established KPIs and goals.
- Align and implement cost-efficiency activities for Gordon to be profitable.
- Participate in pre-sales activities during the onboarding of new customers.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with Delivery partners.
- Coordinate and follow-up with Delivery partners or customers regarding process compliance in the supply chain.
- Work with Workforce activities to align with logistics solutions and flows.
- Lead onboarding of new delivery partners.
- Participate in initiatives and projects within the logistics function as needed, based on role, assignment, and expertise.
We are looking for someone with:
- 2-4 years of experience in a leadership role within a similar operation.
- Experience within eCommerce companies.
- Preferably experience within the food or pharma industry.
- Experience with and understanding of working with key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strong understanding of operational tasks/processes in a similar environment.
- Strong ability to build trust and foster relationships.
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Process understanding and experience working with process development.
- Knowledge of systematic work environment management within production and/or logistics is a plus.
- Experience in implementing improvement initiatives focused on efficiency in a workforce-intensive environment.
- Experience in recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
- Experience in scheduling and staffing in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English (spoken and written).
