To support Gordon in an important phase of growth and transformation, we are now looking for a Senior Accounting & Financial Controller (Interim) to join us in Stockholm.
This interim assignment replaces a parental leave and is expected to run for at least 12 months, starting March 1st, 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a key finance role with significant impact - strengthening core accounting and financial operations while also supporting the CFO in strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
🧩 About the role
In this role, you will take senior responsibility for accounting processes across the Gordon Group and act as a trusted partner to the CFO. You will combine hands-on expertise with a strong improvement and project mindset, contributing both stability and forward momentum during this interim period.
The role does not include formal people management, but you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and lead initiatives that drive structure, quality and development within finance.
📌 Responsibilities & Objectives
Develop, maintain and improve accounting routines and procedures across the Gordon Group
Ensure high quality and timely monthly and annual closings
Monitor group cash flow and support financial planning and follow-up
Analyze financial performance and translate data into actionable insights
Support the CFO in strategic initiatives, transformation efforts and finance-related projects
Lead and coordinate finance-related projects and improvement initiatives
Collaborate with auditors, local partners and cross-functional stakeholders
Provide data-driven decision support to other functions within the organization
🔍 We Are Looking for Someone Who Has
A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within accounting and finance
Strong experience in group accounting and IFRS
Advanced Excel skills and a data-driven way of working
Proven experience of leading projects and driving change initiatives
Ability to perform in-depth analyses and convey insights clearly to senior stakeholders
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to prioritize and manage complexity in a fast-moving environment
Experience from rapidly growing or transforming companies
Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
